About the job
Overview
Founded in 2006, the Future Today Institute helps leaders and their organizations prepare for complex futures. We focus exclusively on how emerging technology and science will disrupt business, transform the workforce and ignite geopolitical change. Our pioneering, data-driven forecasting methodology and tools empower leaders to make better decisions about the future, today.
About You
You are an experienced consultant who has helped clients with their most challenging problems. You make sure deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded, and you do this while inspiring others. You are eager to explore plausible futures, research emerging areas of tech and science, and you prioritize high-impact work. You’re interested in helping organizations succeed and in helping others learn.
Your Role as a Senior Associate
About 80% of your time will be spent planning and managing client projects, and 20% of your time will be spent working on creative foresight research projects and pursuits.
This includes: managing 1-3 client projects at a time; serving as the primary liaison between client project leads and FTI with weekly check-in meetings; facilitating strategic conversations and meetings (telephone, video and in-person) with our clients; writing and preparing client deliverables. You will manage work streams and will work with other FTI team members to ensure high-quality execution and output.
One of our core values at the Future Today Institute is experiential learning. You will receive hands-on mentoring and training in New York City to build or strengthen your strategic foresight skills.
