This week in the world 2050: The world is getting bigger by with more than 7 billion people living in cities, so designing the future city seems very important. More minorities will be joining the ranks of the work force in these cities and elsewhere, so While our cities are expanding and population is growing however, we need more and more resources, so we need more planets to take from. Like 3 planets to keep up with our consumption! Demand is driving this need, pushing up 75% by then. The European Union is definitely trying to keep their end of the Earth bargain by hoping to reduce greenhouse emissions to pre-1990s levels which may help the polar bears who will be all but extinct. Hopefully that next generation will take their $27 trillion and do something great with it.
