The United States looks like it is set up to do well going into 2050 as its working population will still be there to churn out production. Hopefully with population will want to keep flying high as Airbus is counting on (and they have some cool graphics to show you). Transportation is important to Europe as train infrastructure and electric vehicles are needed and needed badly. Innovation is a must, they say. Hopefully all that transpo can carry all that human weight; being obese adds human weight to the global population, half a billion. Humanity must do something, and if we can’t do it, maybe the World Business Council can as they roll out their vision for how to shape the world. The WBC is serious for sure, so let’s get them to help out China’s rising sea levels and take care of the Coral Triangle’s reefs. Seems like we can do great things, and aim for more. Dick Pelletier reminds us that futurists always are looking for the more.
