After watching the glitz and the glamour of the Grammy awards, I noticed that some of the live acts included many harmonized and auto-tuned back-up and forefront vocals that played along with dance performances such as Chris Brown’s below:

This is not that surprising. Musical acts have been using technology to change their sound for years and even have used technology to play music without humans. Kraftwerk, one of the most influential (and very futurist ) electronica bands have integrated robots in their performances. Here they are below.
The real question arises as music continues to use technology to “better” itself. How will you know what is real? What is human and what is machine? Very Singularity, indeed.
